- Coordinator: Previous coordinating experience
- Aide: Completion of Level 3 and the Level you want to aide

Support Upcoming Events
April 21st—Earth Day 5K
We are looking for a team of 4 sangha members to help coordinate an outreach table for the Boulder Shambhala Center. Setup 8am. Breakdown 11:30am. We hope to find a few people to split shifts and share company so invite your friends and make it a date!
May 5th—SunDay Assembly
We will begin our contemplation of Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche's new book, the Shambhala Principle. We need help with all aspects of this event. Set up will begin at 9am. Cleanup will begin after our social time around 1:30pm.
April 26th—Community Table
We have partnered with the Bridge House/Community Table, BCBA, and Community Food Share to provide healthy meals on an ongoing basis for those in need. CLICK HERE to sign up! 3:30-6:45 (split shifts available)
Ongoing ROTA
As you know, our volunteers are the heart of many things we accomplish here at the Center. We need your support to ensure that the center continues to flourish as a place to hear, contemplate, and integrate the dharma. We have many current Remarkable Opportunities for Transformative Action!! Please offer what you can.
Umdze Needed – Wednesday Mornings
Lead group sitting practice at the Shambhala Center! Umdze training required, and can be arranged upon request. Prerequisite: experience with Shambhala morning or evening chants.
Sunday Open House Coordinators
Provide hospitality and create a welcoming atmosphere for our ongoing Sunday Open House once per month. This is an ongoing role that asks for a six month commitment.
Open Shifts: 2nd, 3rd, or 4th Sunday of each month.
Setup 9:30am. Cleanup 12 noon.
Front Desk Reception
Greet people at the front desk, welcome & orient visitors to the Shambhala Center! Prerequisite: Attended Shambhala Training Level III.
Open Shifts: Mondays & Tuesdays 10
We also need back up volunteers who are willing to be on a call list to fill in when needed! Shifts vary—generally weekday mornings and some weekend afternoons.
General Center Volunteers
Help to accomplish general center tasks on a weekly basis. Help with organizing, center beautification, projects, data entry, etc. No prior experience needed. Hours can be scheduled Monday–Friday 10am-6pm.
¡Ayuda con el Café Meditación!
The Café Meditación, or Meditation Café, class is looking for a volunteer co-coordinator and a volunteer aide to help with our meditation classes in Spanish at the Red Oak Park Community Center in Boulder, CO. At least some ability with Spanish is preferred.
March 12-May 21 Every other Tuesday evening 6-9 pm

Facilities Champions
Work with our facilities manager to help with ongoing center maintenance and special projects. We are looking for members who are willing to be contacted as needs arise!
